Anatomy of computer
In principle , a computer of any kind works in much the same way as a teacher . It Is concerned with accepting data as Input, storing all the information, which is relevant to It, processing the data in a predetermined way that conforms with a program of given command  and then communicate the results as output. Thus,a computer essentially consists of three elements 
1. Input device
2  CPU
3. Output device.

USER Given Input from Keyboard/Mouse/Scanner etc and then the CPU unit is processing the raw data into useful form say (Information) you have to retrieve those information such as output(like The Input and Output device provide man-to-machine and machine-to-man communication, and since they surrounded CPU,they are also called peripheral devices.

A)  Input devices are many types, but basically they are meant for presenting the information to the computer in machine readable form. A computer system may have one or more of following input devices, depending upon its types, size, and use.
1 Punch Card reader
2 Punched Paper tape reader
3 Magnetic tape
4 Magnetic disk
5 Floppy Disk
6 Optical Scanner (OMR/OCR)
7 MICR

B) Central Processing Unit:It is the brain or heart of computer system So the CPU perform function similar to the cerebrums,cardiac, and command function of human body. CPU consists of 3  components
 

1 Storage devices(Memory)
* Main memory storage or Immediate Access Storage(IAS)
* Auxiliary Memory
 

2 Arithmetic Logic Unit(ALU)
 

3  Control Units(Monitor)

 
The Function CPU are to :

I )Store data as well as instructions,
II) Control the sequence of operation as per the stored instructions.
III) Issue command to all parts of the computer system and carry out data processing and to send results to Output

C) OUTPUT Devices: The result of any computer processing has to be communicated to the users.
Outlet devices translate the computer's output into a form understandable by human being Similar  to input devices, these also involve the presentation of information in variety of forms Output devices include:
1 Card puncher
2 Printers
3 Tape Puncher
4 Magnetic Tape
5 Magnetic Disk
